The town has just installed free three fitness equipment on the Ty Colo recreation area, ideal for improving his physical condition (cardio, sheathing, endurance, Bodybuilding) : a push-pull (two people per module), an elliptical, and a rider for the cardio and strengthening of the heart muscle. The cost of these devices is 6 124 € HT, with the installation performed in-house by the technical services. Friday, the Mayor, Gilles Mounieret Gaël Lars, sports Assistant, have successfully tested these new devices that complement existing activities near the Lake.

A trip in the South of the France inspired Councillor Pierre Jolly. He created the space for outdoor fitness on the square of Oradour in Montoy-Flanville.
Common to composite geography and scattered life centers, the commune of Ogy-Montoy-Flanville strives to meet the needs of different categories of population, including children.
These are indeed playgrounds scattered on different life centers, all rebates to the public since games standards 2014. The games in schools, accessible means, were renovated in 2015, those Flanville, open to adults, in 2016 and those of the Cugnot, especially destined to the 3 to 6 years, in 2017. An additional area is in preparation on Ogy.
Alongside these infrastructure, an original formula was created a few months ago with a fitness Park with games for adults, on the site of the square of Oradour. City Councilman in charge of urban furniture, Pierre Jolly is the initiator of the project. He answers our questions.
The municipality wanted to open all the supply of existing outdoor activities. I discovered this concept in a commune in the southeast of the France and offered it to the City Council who unanimously accepted.
What are the directions for use ?
The devices are intended for people over 14 years, measuring at least 1,40 m. They have labels specifying the use, the level of difficulty and the operating instructions.
They allow to work all parts of the body.
What are the safety instructions ?
Before must know its own limitations and strictly follow instructions for use. Safety standards have been strictly observed during installation and that all of the communal play areas are checked each week.
